Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold in both team floor as well as the individual competitions. The bronze was won by the balance bar. In the end, she became the first American in the Olympics who had the most number of medals. The 2016 Olympics saw her win gold in the team event, earning Gabby as well as Gabby the honor of being the first Americans to ever win consecutive gold medals for a team. In addition, she was awarded silver medals for the individual all-around event as well as for floor exercise. Following the 2nd Olympics she was off for three years from gymnastics. In addition she was part of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics teams. Her favorite event is the floor exercise. Gymnastics was her first sport she began to learn when she was two years old. Aly is a part of her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization to honor and remember her mother. Aly is planning to pursue a career as a designer. The next goal she has is growing her range of leotards. Fierce is a novel she's working on, will be published at the end of this year.
